Join our Team at Queen's Hospitality Services! The positions we have open are part-time and in our residence dining hall on campus with Aramark Canada.


Our

servers provide exceptional dining experiences by creating genuine and sincere connections with our guests. They are a part of a dynamic service team that works together to deliver unforgettable food, drinks and service to ensure every guest leaves happy.

Pay and Perks

$20.00/hr. + 4% vacation pay in every pay in lieu of paid time off Competitive Shift Premium for evening and weekend shifts Uniforms are provided

We are looking for individuals that are passionate about Food, Hospitality, and are Guest focused as well as being a strong and motivating team player.

Provide a welcoming smile and genuine hospitality Get to know our Guests and enhance their personal experience while flawlessly executing our steps of service Adhere to all safe food safety and handling procedures Abide by Food Safety regulations and best practices Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area Perform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal Supervise the food temperature requirements Scrub and polish counters, clean and sanitize steam tables, and other equipment Follow established procedures and standards for cleanliness, to ensure a balanced and safe environment; duties include sweeping, moping, ware washing Maintain garbage collection site and kitchen floor areas in a neat and sanitary fashion Perform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen


This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Previous experience as a server and working on the frontline in a restaurant is an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Energetic and self-confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Able to work a flexible schedule (i.e. days, nights, weekends) Team Player - help contribute to a positive guest experience however necessary Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
