We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain high-quality food service.

Duties

Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to standard. Train, mentor, and manage staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and growth. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions at the point of sale (POS). Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Assist in menu planning and inventory management, ensuring that kitchen supplies are adequately stocked. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation.

Skills

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role within a food service environment. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices related to food service operations. Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food handling standards. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
