Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations within our food service department, ensuring that all staff members provide exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, with a focus on team management and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Train new employees on food handling techniques, customer service standards, and safety protocols. Assist in menu planning and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels. Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards in line with customer expectations. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and kitchen facilities to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Prepare reports on staff performance, inventory usage, and customer feedback for management review.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is preferred, including experience in restaurants or hotels. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations. Proven ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests. Experience in bartending or restaurant management is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
