Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing, training, and evaluating staff performance
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Monitor kitchen activities, including food safety practices and cleanliness
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
Assist with food service tasks such as serving customers and managing barista or hospitality services when needed
Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for supplies
Support restaurant management in implementing policies and procedures
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills required
Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage restaurant operations efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices in food safety and handling
Ability to interview staff candidates and contribute to hiring decisions
Previous experience working in restaurants or similar settings such as bars or hotels is preferred
