Job Description

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. This role includes supervising team members, coordinating shifts, to maintain a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food. Assist with preparing customer orders in a clean, timely, attentive, and friendly manner. Oversee cooking and preparation for lunch and dinner. Maintain a clean and organized restaurant at all times (lobby, kitchen, bathrooms, equipment, etc.). Address and resolve customer questions or concerns in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner. Ensure staff follow all Taco Boyz restaurant policies and practices. Oversee and assist staff with chopping vegetables, putting away stock from deliveries, and replenishing cold and hot tables. Monitor refilling and preparation of sauces. . Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system when required. Train, coach, and mentor staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. Motivate employees to meet goals and objectives, providing guidance and assistance as needed. Ensure food and service meet Taco Boyz quality standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in food service or hospitality. Knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, train, and mentor staff. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism.
