Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Food Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. From food preparation to customer service, you will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Operate the POS system to process orders and handle cash transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Supervise and train new team members on food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new staff members

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
