The basics:
Must hold an up-to-date Food Handler Certificate recognized by Public Health (30 days to take course and pass, from start date)
Must have 1 year experience in restaurant industry
Must have own slip resistant shoes in good condition
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
? Develop a safe and healthy work environment
? Follow and enforce all public health guidelines
? Ensure food safety and operations standards are maintained, food quality standards are met and overproduction is kept to a minimum to avoid waste.
? Ensure all team member follow the food handling guidelines to prevent any injuries or accidents.
? Delegate and ensure all cleaning and secondary duties are completed
? Resolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide the highest level of satisfaction
? Upholding the menu as dictated in the system without deviation and as per standardization processes laid out in the training manual
? Assist in planning new menu items as per the customer's feedback
? Manage a team of up to 6 team members
? Manage the shift by supervising, coordinating, and scheduling activities of the shift staff in preparing food, taking orders and customer service etc.
? Prepare daily sales and inventory reports using POS software and brief the management
? Monitor product levels and assist with product orders and inventory as required.
? Complete tasks on 7tasks app including but not limited to, temperature checks, cleaning schedule, inventory sheet
? Arrive to work at least 15 minutes before starting of the shift
? Solving the cash register problems related to POS, printing machines etc.
? Train and develop new/existing team members. Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale by ensuring Big D's Hot Chicken grid is implemented.
