Subways in Kelowna are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations in the food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, coordinating food preparation, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

We have multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of kitchen staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train new staff on food service protocols, kitchen operations, and safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen environment. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives aimed at improving service efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or hospitality management, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and management. Experience in restaurant or bartending environments is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the dining experience.

Salary:

Starting at $18.00/hour. Depending upon your experience, we are open to negotiation.
