Tasks

Establish methods to meet work schedules Requisition food and kitchen supplies Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Hire food service staff Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Prepare budget and cost estimates Address customers' complaints or concerns Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports Establish work schedules Administrative and office activities Perform opening and closing activities Order supplies and maintain inventory Negotiate for services and preferential rates Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers Maintain records on inventory control system Co-ordinate the storage of collections and setting-up of displays and exhibitions Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
