Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department, overseeing daily activities, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, with a focus on team management and exceptional customer experiences.

Duties

Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Manage daily operations including inventory management, cash handling, and POS transactions. Train and develop staff through effective training programs and ongoing support. Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity. Implement sales strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with company policies. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Assist in buying and negotiating with suppliers to ensure optimal product selection for the store. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and cash handling procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant management. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively. Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems. Background in cooking, food preparation, or kitchen operations is preferred. Familiarity with hospitality principles and practices is an asset. Prior experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
