We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers. The Food Service Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining food safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards. Manage team performance by providing training, guidance, and support to staff members. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and sanitation standards. Foster a positive customer experience by addressing concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborate with management to develop menus and improve service offerings. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supply of food products. Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimize productivity during peak hours.

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant management roles. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations. Previous supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus; barista experience is also beneficial. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
