The Opportunity The Food Service Manager ensures that high-quality and nutritional food is provided to camp participants. The goal is to provide an environment that supports the camp\xe2\x80\x99s vision of growing and building relationships in an outdoor setting. The incumbent manages the camp\xe2\x80\x99s food service operation preparing and cooking 3 meals a day within the established budget and maintains the highest standards of health and sanitation possible. The incumbent supervises kitchen staff, the ordering and preparation of food, and menu planning. Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly menus to provide nutritious and healthy meals
  • Preparing and cooking 3 meals a day
  • Prepare food for dietary restrictions & food allergies
  • Order foods accurately to prescribed menus
  • Schedule, and supervise food service staff
  • Cook healthy and appealing meals in a timely manner
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness to meet Health Department guidelines
  • Strong work ethic
  • Positive team-oriented attitude
  • Good judgement
  • Patience with children and an interest in their growth and development
