Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee our food service operations at a

Remote Mining Site - Lac Des Iles. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday (living on site) and off from Friday through Sunday.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires effective team management, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to create a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the food service department, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Supervise and train staff in food handling, preparation techniques, and customer service standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food safety practices. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Develop menus that cater to customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints. Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting teamwork and communication among staff members. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead, motivate & train a team effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $72,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
