Serve daily meals and snacks to classrooms according to the menu and dietary restrictions.
Ensure food is portioned and delivered to classrooms in a safe and timely manner.
Collect dishes and utensils after meals/snacks and return them to the kitchen.
Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and serving equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures at all times.
Support with light food preparation as directed (e.g., plating, portioning, heating).
Assist with ratio support in classrooms if needed or requested by management.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Food Handling Certificate (required).
Experience working in a childcare, school, or food service setting (preferred).
Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must Have:
Vulnerable Sector Check.
Up-to-date Immunization Record including TB Test.
Valid First Aid & CPR-C certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
