Who we are looking for:

Wabasca Desmarais Housing Authority/Keekenow Senior Facility is looking for Permanent Full-time Food Service Aides who are accountable for dining room preparation, meal preparation assistance, serving meals and cleanliness of food service area. This position entails an elevated level of interaction with seniors and requires physical endurance (ie. maneuvering heavy pots, sharp knives, flour bags, etc.). This position deals with highly confidential matters and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP)/confidentiality must be a top priority both at work and outside of work.

Some Key Duties:

Food handling adheres to safe food handling regulations. Resident dietary profiles are up-to-date, accurate and communicated to supervisor and co-workers. Food services work areas and equipment are clean and organized throughout the shift. Sanitation program tasks are completed as per shift requirements and in adherence to safe work procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Grade 10 Food Safe course Experience in relevant position Speaking and understanding Cree would be an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
