Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. This role involves taking orders, serving food, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros POS system Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety standards Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area and kitchen Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring timely service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures within the kitchen

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
