TBM is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Food Sanitation Workers to join our cleaning team in the

Mississauga and Brampton areas.

This role is vital in ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facilities. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards, prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred.

As a Food Sanitation Worker, you will play an essential part in keeping the workplace clean and sanitary. This position also offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in food sanitation while being part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility Sanitize high-touch surfaces to ensure health and safety compliance Operate cleaning equipment pressure washers as needed Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation procedures and environmental standards

Requirements

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning tasks Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods and pressure washing Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
