Job Overview:
We are seeking for a

Food Safety Sanitarian

to join our team. Who will implement regulatory, company and sanitation programs while understanding and complying with all food safety policies and procedures. The food safety sanitarian must understand how to work with necessary chemicals, work at a pace that delivers a clean plant and abide by company policies, including satisfactory attendance.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe work environment by properly implementing the IIPP (Injury Illness Prevention Programs) - Always raise safety awareness for chemical handling and equipment operation with Lock out Tag Out training Prepare and clean rooms and machinery utilizing high pressure hoses, cleaning and sanitizing chemicals and other provided equipment to ensure a sanitary environment ready for daily production of processed meat products Assure ongoing compliance with proper cleaning schedules and sanitation plan Ensure that the plant is cleaned daily and ready to start production on time Maintain good communication with subordinates, peers, and other members of management Complete safety goals daily Exposure to chemicals (with PPE provided); understanding of sanitation chemicals and uses
