• Delivering food orders from the kitchen to Front of House Staff/customers rapidly and accurately
• Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• Communicating food orders to chefs/servers, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies)
• Assist staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils
• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience as a Food Expeditoror similar entry-level role in a restaurant
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Good oral communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
