Job Summary
Bernies Pizza Bar is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding food orders, special requests, and any potential issues. Ensure that all guest interactions reflect our commitment to exceptional hospitality.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
Pay Starts at 16.10 an hour plus tips (approximately 8-10 an hour extra!)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.10 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week
Work Location: In person
