Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service. This position requires a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner. Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Help with food preparation and meal setup as needed. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and cleanliness protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, if required, using POS systems. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in cashiering and cash handling is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order delivery and cleanliness. Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is a plus.
