We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including cleaning tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest requests or concerns promptly. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, including meal preparation and food handling. Operate the POS system for order tracking and assist with cashiering duties when required. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures during delivery and service. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide accurate information to guests.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with a strong focus on customer service. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques. Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations.
