Souk Tabule is seeking to hire individuals with an appreciation and passion for the food and beverage industry. We are looking for keen, motivated people who love people and food to join us, as we open our newest outpost location named Souk in the historic Canary District. Souk is Lebanese for market and we are striving to provide a casual atmosphere for our customers to enjoy our food as well as some grab and go items to try at home. Our customers love our simple and healthy approach to food and our friendly staff and service. If you are a self-starter with a positive attitude and outgoing personality, we would love to hear from you.Duties and Responsibilities

• greet all customers and present beverage menu, including alcohol
• take customer orders and make coffee, tea and other drinks accurately according to customer specifications and established recipe and presentation standards
• operate cash registers and credit card machines
• comply with health, safety and hygiene guidelines and regulations
• ensure customer service stations are clean and well stocked
• dismantle and clean machinery as needed
• work to maintain food customer relations and timely delivery of beverages
• stock inventory and display merchandise in an attractive and functional manner
• monitor inventory and report shortages
• complete opening and closing duties for each shift

Skills and Experience * High School Diploma preferred

• Smart Serve Certified
• high volume experience with coffee making equipment
• working knowledge of all forms of coffee and standard beverage recipes
• basic numeracy and money-handling skills
• able to read and speak fluently in English
• able to stand for long hours
• able to lift and carry moderate amounts of weight
