Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically inclined Production Associate to join our team at Sheldon Creek Dairy. The Production Associate will be responsible for set up, running and dismantling equipment, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of our dairy products.

Responsibilities:

Operate Packaging Equipment:

Operate and monitor the packaging equipment to ensure proper processing of milk and other dairy products according to established procedures and safety standards.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Cleaning:

Perform routine tasks on the equipment, including cleaning, sanitizing. Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance staff as needed to resolve technical problems.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, equipment maintenance records, and quality control documentation. Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical handling, and equipment operation. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment for all employees.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other production team members, including operators, supervisors, and quality assurance staff, to achieve production goals and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience operating and maintaining pasteurization equipment in a dairy or food processing environment strongly preferred. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform basic repairs and adjustments to equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
