Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the food service industry, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area.

Duties

Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery to guests. Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with quality standards. Assist in food handling, preparation, and cooking as needed to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen equipment and utensils. Operate POS systems for order processing and assist with cashiering duties when required. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or special requests from guests. Uphold food safety standards and practices throughout all stages of food preparation and service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Kitchen experience, including meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning tasks. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and guest interactions. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food products. Experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus, including barista or hotel experience.
