Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an energetic and talented Food Expeditor to join our growing F&B team in The Rail Coal Fire Bistro.

The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and possess excellent communication skills. He/She will have demonstrated experience working as a Food Expeditor in a very busy restaurant environment. This role acts as the main liaison between BOH (cooks) staff and FOH (waiters) and plays an integral part in ensuring that the flow of service is maintained and optimized, that errors are fixed in a way that meets our guests\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction and that our customers receive their food in a timely manner. Quick decision-making skills are a must!

Schedule:
Thursday: 5:00pm - 1:00am
Friday: 4:00pm - 3:00am
Saturday: 4:00pm - 3:00am
Sunday: 4:00pm - 1:00am

Starting salary: 20$-25$/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Verify that plates are made according to the customer\xe2\x80\x99s order with a focus on accuracy, presentation and temperature
  • Ensure that the plates are served as required according to the kitchen standard
  • Ensure that plates are received by the appropriate customers in the correct F&B outlet (Playground specific)
Qualifications:
  • Fluent English and French spoken language
  • Knowledge of basic dining room operations
  • Basic food knowledge
  • Solid understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills,
  • Ability to accurately understand requests
  • Dexterity in using kitchen equipment, utensils and carrying heavy trays
  • Well-organized with outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A customer-oriented approach
  • Great physical endurance

Le candidat id\xc3\xa9al excellera sous pression et poss\xc3\xa9dera d\'excellentes aptitudes \xc3\xa0 la communication. Il/elle aura une exp\xc3\xa9rience confirm\xc3\xa9e en tant qu\'exp\xc3\xa9diteur d\'aliments dans un environnement de restaurant tr\xc3\xa8s achaland\xc3\xa9. Ce r\xc3\xb4le est la principale liaison entre le personnel BOH (cuisiniers) et FOH (serveurs) et joue un r\xc3\xb4le essentiel pour s\'assurer que le flux de service est maintenu et optimis\xc3\xa9, que les erreurs sont corrig\xc3\xa9es de mani\xc3\xa8re \xc3\xa0 satisfaire nos invit\xc3\xa9s et que nos clients re\xc3\xa7oivent leur nourriture en temps voulu. Des capacit\xc3\xa9s de prise de d\xc3\xa9cision rapide sont indispensables !

Horaire de travail:
Jeudi:de 17 h \xc3\xa0 1 h du matin
Vendredi: de 16 h \xc3\xa0 3 h
Samedi: de 16 h \xc3\xa0 3 h
Dimanche: de 16h \xc3\xa0 1h du matin

Salaire de d\xc3\xa9part : 20-$25$/heure

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s:
  • V\xc3\xa9rifier que les assiettes sont faites selon la commande du client en mettant l\'accent sur la pr\xc3\xa9cision, la pr\xc3\xa9sentation et la temp\xc3\xa9rature.
  • S\'assurer que les assiettes sont servies selon les normes de la cuisine.
  • S\'assurer que les assiettes sont re\xc3\xa7ues par les clients appropri\xc3\xa9s dans le bon point de vente F&B (sp\xc3\xa9cifique \xc3\xa0 Playground).
Qualifications:
  • Ma\xc3\xaetrise de l\'anglais et du fran\xc3\xa7ais
  • Connaissance des op\xc3\xa9rations de base en salle \xc3\xa0 manger
  • Connaissance de base de l\'alimentation
  • Bonne compr\xc3\xa9hension des r\xc3\xa8gles de sant\xc3\xa9 et de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 dans un restaurant
  • Solides comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication et en r\xc3\xa9solution de probl\xc3\xa8mes,
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 comprendre avec pr\xc3\xa9cision les demandes
  • Dext\xc3\xa9rit\xc3\xa9 dans l\'utilisation des \xc3\xa9quipements de cuisine, des ustensiles et dans le transport de plateaux lourds.
  • Bonne organisation, coordination exceptionnelle et capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 effectuer plusieurs t\xc3\xa2ches \xc3\xa0 la fois.
  • Excellentes aptitudes \xc3\xa0 la communication et \xc3\xa0 la n\xc3\xa9gociation
  • Une approche orient\xc3\xa9e vers le client
