Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, providing excellent customer service while ensuring that food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers with their orders and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces. Assist in stocking supplies and ensuring that food items are fresh and available for service. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
