Overview

The Food Service Counter Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and efficient food service environment. Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience through upselling techniques. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
