Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle food and transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential in delivering a positive dining experience for our customers and supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and making change, with attention to detail. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Ensure cleanliness of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or serving roles within the food industry is advantageous. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
