Position Summary

Under the direction of an F&B Outlet Manager, this rock star Supervisor will oversee daily operations and attend to the needs of our guests and fellow rock stars. If the tune of motivating and leading by example comes naturally to you, then make sure to keep on reading!

Key Accountabilities:

\xc2\xb7 Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)

\xc2\xb7 Scheduling and supervising team members; assigning shift work tasks

\xc2\xb7 Monitoring cash outs and forwarding discrepancy reports to management/accounting

\xc2\xb7 Completing shift reports for management and for the next shift

\xc2\xb7 Organizing and assisting with monthly inventory count and forwarding inventory reports to management

\xc2\xb7 Assisting in maximizing the revenue of the outlet or bar while minimizing operating costs

\xc2\xb7 Offering food and beverage expertise to internal and external guests

\xc2\xb7 Taking guests\' orders and making recommendations

\xc2\xb7 Preparing beverages, as needed

\xc2\xb7 Serving the guests and checking to ensure satisfaction

\xc2\xb7 Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

\xc2\xb7 Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Legendary Guest service skills with a \xe2\x80\x9cMake it Happen\xe2\x80\x9d attitude

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests

\xc2\xb7 A passion for providing GEM and Rockin\' It Service to our external and internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence

\xc2\xb7 Live HRCV\'s Values all day, every day: Respect, Original, Caring, Kickin\' Service, Integrity and No Excuses

\xc2\xb7 Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Post-Secondary education in hospitality and/or hotel or suitable combination of education and work related experience

\xc2\xb7 Computer literacy in MS Office; POS experience

\xc2\xb7 Experience providing leadership to team members

\xc2\xb7 Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and the ability to stand for long periods of time

\xc2\xb7 Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification

\xc2\xb7 The ability to successfully obtain or maintain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular restaurant or casino environment, standing or walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
