Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various tasks related to food preparation, serving, and cashiering. A background in the food industry or restaurant experience is preferred.

Duties

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service delivery.
