Duties
Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for events, including banquets and catering functions.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Support dietary needs by understanding menu options and making recommendations as necessary.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all operational guidelines.
Qualifications
Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Experience in food preparation, catering, or banquet services is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
A background in hospitality or as a dietary aide is beneficial.
Barista experience is an asset for roles involving beverage service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
