We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is exceptional. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry especially in Japanese Seafood Restaurant.
Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
Serve food and drinks to customers efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Handle cash transactions and manage cash handling procedures with accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times.
Assist with basic math calculations for order totals and tips as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
Skills
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, showcasing familiarity with the food service environment.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with guests.
Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe dining experience.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
