7 days on / 7 days off (Wednesday-Wednesday), rotating day and night shifts

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Fluid Dispatcher
to support safe, efficient, and compliant fluid management operations. This role is responsible for coordinating dispatch activities, managing work orders, and communicating with field crews and multiple trucking companies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based with occasional field visits
Frequent interaction with field crews, supervisors, and third-party trucking companies
Fast-paced operational environment requiring adaptability and strong communication
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch fluid hauling and management activities and monitor progress
Review, code, and maintain accurate work orders
Process material haul requests and manage offsite load manifests
Coordinate trucking logistics and optimize haul routes
Book equipment and additional resources as required
Track and enter non-productive time
Maintain accurate documentation for manifests, tickets, and work orders
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures
Monitor and communicate changes or updates to work orders
Follow spill response procedures and report incidents as required
Communicate effectively with supervisors, crews, and third-party vendors
Respond to urgent dispatch requests and changing priorities
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of fluid hauling regulations and environmental compliance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Professional and courteous communication style
Preferred Experience
1-3 years of experience in dispatching or fluid management
Experience in oil & gas or industrial environments
Familiarity with manifest documentation and regulatory reporting
Understanding of dispatching heavy fluid trucks (vac, combo, etc.)
Certification & Site Access Notice
Applicants must already hold the following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain them at their own expense prior to commencing work.
Requirements
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License
Valid Driver's Abstract
Ability to meet all site access requirements
Must successfully pass:

+ Mask Fit Test
