We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Flower Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail environment. This position involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Manage stock levels by organizing inventory, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Assist with e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment and online customer support.
- Utilize retail math skills to help with pricing, discounts, and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell products effectively, including lawn care items, by understanding customer needs and making appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area to create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A keen interest in lawn care products is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to stocking and organizing merchandise.
