Job Description
Rowe Brothers Flooring Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced Flooring Sales/Estimator at its Maple Valley Road, Corner Brook location.
Job Requirements
- Provide technical support to Management on various projects.
- Review all commercial bid opportunities and keep track of deadlines.
- Ability to read drawings and understand specs.
- Visit commercial/residential job sites to take measurements and assess site conditions.
- Prepare estimates/quotes for commercial/residential jobs.
- Order materials as required.
- Assist with organizing/scheduling jobs and crews.
- Assist customers in showroom and answer general queries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Team player.
- Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
Education and Experience Required
- Experience working in the flooring industry.
- Good knowledge of contracts, codes, industry practices, and key trade contractors an asset
- Experience in Design-Build and P3 procurement processes an asset.
- Good initiative, attention to details, strong organization, and time management skills.
