We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves working with different types of flooring materials, ensuring high-quality installations, and maintaining the overall appearance of floors in various settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, carpet, and laminate. Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and specifications for flooring projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for flooring installation tasks. Perform tile laying with precision to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Execute carpentry tasks related to flooring projects as needed. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper finishing of flooring edges and joints. Conduct regular inspections of floors to identify maintenance needs or potential issues. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation or related maintenance person experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of hand tools and construction techniques relevant to flooring work. Ability to read blueprints accurately and execute plans accordingly. Familiarity with carpentry practices is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials as required.
