Job Title: Floor Technician - Stripping & Waxing Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Floor Technician/Carpet Cleaning Technician

with experience in

floor stripping, waxing, and buffing and carpet cleaning

to join our commercial cleaning team. This role is essential in helping maintain clean, safe, and professional-looking floors across our client properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing of various types of floors (e.g., VCT, tile, linoleum). Operate floor care equipment including burnishers, auto scrubbers, and stripping machines. Carpet cleaning using extraction units and bonnet cleaning method Knowledge of various flooring materials, installation methods, and maintenance requirements Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of all equipment and chemicals. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE. Work independently or as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently. Perform occasional general cleaning duties as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in floor care (especially stripping and waxing) preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work on your feet for extended periods. Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred). Attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Availability to work evening or overnight shifts and occasional weekends.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift Weekends as needed
Experience:

Carpet Cleaning: 1 year (required) Stripping and Waxing: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
