Floor Replenishment Lead

Here\'s what you\'ll be doing....

You\'ll drive the replenishment of stock from the receiving area to the floor. The three main responsibilities are to ensure the sales floor is fully stocked with General Merchandise (GM) inventory; you\'ll direct and prepare inter-store transfers; and maintain the organization of the upper floor stock room while maintaining inventory accuracy.

In this role, you\'ll work up to 25-37.5 hours weekly, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities include:

GM sales floor stock levels

  • Plan stock movement in collaboration with Retail Floor Manager, Floor Merchandise Lead and other floor teams
  • Collaborate and communicate with the receiving team to prioritize stock movement from the receiving staging area to the sales floor and stock areas
  • Communicate with receiving and buying teams regarding stock levels
  • Lead the floor team to fill the sales floor stock appropriately with stock levels
Inter-store stock transfers
  • Collaborate with the buying and shipping teams, lead the execution of inter-store transfers
  • Communicate with the receiving team to prepare incoming inventory for transfers to other locations
  • Communicate with the store managers regarding fulfillment of transfer requests
  • Lead picking, packing, documentation and preparation of transfers
Stock rooms and inventory accuracy
  • Ensure that items in stock rooms are well labeled and safely stocked
  • Stock room organization should follow basic logistics principles
  • Ensure that the stock room is always well maintained and clean
  • Ensure that the items are prepared for the floor as needed
  • Support inventory accuracy by being responsible for timely cycle counts
  • Key contributor to annual inventory count
Additional duties
  • Arrive early to open the store and start preparations for the day or close the store
  • Train new employees on daily operations, procedures and policies
  • Assist managers and associates in preventing theft
  • Support the events program by coordinating stock movement for events
  • Other related duties as assigned
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Post-Secondary graduate or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Move/lift/carry cartons and product weighing up to 40lbs
  • Driver\'s license is an asset
