We are seeking a dedicated Floor Manager to join our team at Lighthouse. As a Floor Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the operations of the dining floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive environment for both guests and staff. Duties:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dining floor
Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally
Manage and support servers, ensuring they provide excellent service
Monitor the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure accurate transactions
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining areas
Train new servers and provide ongoing training to existing staff
Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints effectively
Assist with seating arrangements and managing guest flow
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Skills:
Strong leadership and management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills
Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with food service procedures and protocols
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant setting is preferred
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations is beneficial
