We are seeking a dedicated Floor Manager to join our team at Lighthouse. As a Floor Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the operations of the dining floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive environment for both guests and staff. Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dining floor
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally
- Manage and support servers, ensuring they provide excellent service
- Monitor the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure accurate transactions
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining areas
- Train new servers and provide ongoing training to existing staff
- Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints effectively
- Assist with seating arrangements and managing guest flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food service procedures and protocols
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations is beneficial
