Job Overview
We are looking for someone to add to our labour team and help support our journeyman. This role requires someone who is dependable, good at following instructions, and has a willingness to learn. Labourers are expected to help install a variety of flooring products and adhere to all construction safety standards.
Responsibilities
Load, unload and transport construction materials. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare floors for installations. Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout. Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base. Prepare and install hardwood floors, vinyl plank floors, and laminate floors. Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
Requirements
No experience is necessary; we will train. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols. Ability to follow instructions and work with others. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Someone who is dependable and has good communication skills. Must be able to work in noisy & dusty construction site settings. Must be able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg). Own steel-toed boots (all other safety wear is provided). Must be a permanent Canadian resident.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
