Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Tasks
---------Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding Prepare flooring plans and scheduling Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors Prepare tenders and quotations Prepare and install hardwood floors Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations Prepare floors for installations Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces Perform direct glue-down carpet installations Perform double-bond carpet installations Install vinyl decking materials
