Job Description
Neegan Development is seeking an experienced
Class 1 Float Truck Operator
to safely haul heavy equipment onon-highway and off-highway/resource roads
in Alberta. We are looking for safety-focused professionals with experience on 36-wheeled trailers, lowbed, and tilt & load trailers.Responsibilities
Operate Class 1 Tri-axle tractor with 36-wheel trailer, lowbed/float, tilt & load trailers Haul and secure heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.) Perform inspections and maintain logbooks Comply with
Alberta Transportation, NSC, and OHS regulations
Coordinate oversize loads and pilot cars when requiredRequirements
Valid
Alberta Class 1 license
Clean 3-year commercial abstract
Heavy equipment float experience
CSO (common safety orientation)
Strong load securement knowledge Ability to work long hours and varied schedulesAssets
Off-highway/resource road experience Oversized/overweight hauling H2S, First Aid, WHMIS
