Skyplan Services Limited is seeking a results driven individual to join our Operations team as an Flight Aviation Trip Coordinator. This is an exciting position for an individual who can combine outstanding customer service skills, strategic thinking and a passion for making things happen. We\'re looking for a high-energy, professional who can work with both tactical and big-picture thinking. If you can effectively oversee and coordinate worldwide aviation operations logistics, collaborate with existing and new business partners and drive strong effective supplier management, this role is for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our aviation customers operating worldwide. You must be eager to answer questions and solve problems for our customers. Your days will be challenging, fast paced and rewarding! Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Regularly communicate with customers (both written and verbal) regarding the status of their existing or upcoming trips
  • Arrange Aircraft Ground Handling
  • Obtain International Overflight and Landing Permissions
  • Obtain Airport Prior Permissions (PPR\xe2\x80\x99s)
  • Secure Airport Arrival and/or Departure Slots
  • Obtain International Security Waivers (US TSA Waiver, Australia TSP, etc)
  • Arrange Special Flight Authorizations
  • Organize Flight Crew Hotel accommodations at destination
  • Organize catering for passengers and crew
  • Arrange Crew Ground Transportation
  • Arrange Fuel
  • Organize flight packages for the crew and provide relevant documentation/briefing
  • Arrange Customs & APIS for all international flights
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Canadian citizen or landed immigrant legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills including the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
  • Demonstrated excellence in prioritization and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work shifts (day or night)
  • Aviation experience an asset
  • Must be able to type at an intermediate level or above
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Fluent speaking and/or writing in multiple languages is an asset
  • Good knowledge of world geography and an interest in world politics/events is considered an asset
This position is in a 24/7 operations environment. Candidates are expected to be available for 12 hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
