AIR INUIT - CORPORATE PROFILE Air Inuit provides essential air transport services, including scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency flights, to Nunavik and surrounding regions, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for the past 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 37 aircraft and employs over 1,100 people in one of the world\'s most demanding flight environments. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist, support, and collaborate with the Chief Pilots and the Chief Flight Attendant in operational tasks, human resources issues, and various projects related to flight operations.
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative by listening, analyzing, and providing feedback to the team.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management, as well as with other departments.
  • Accompany and support teams in their various challenges.
  • Manage labor relations with crew members, including labor relations committees, and ensure open and continuous communication.
  • Proactively participate in internal and external audits, by preparing, collaborating, identifying improvement points, and implementing recommendations with action plans.
  • Monitor performance requirements against established goals and report deficiencies to the Director of Flight Operations, Safety Committee, or Accountable Executive.
  • Perform line pilot duties (valid license - an asset).
  • Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Flight Operations in their absence.
  • Perform any other task requested by the Director of Flight Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • College diploma or equivalent experience
  • Relevant pilot experience with a license
  • Basic knowledge of office software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to learn and use new software related to flight operations (AIMS, etc.)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance (RAIC)
  • Must possess a valid passport
  • Bilingual (English/French), Inuktitut is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, both orally and in writing
