AIR INUIT - CORPORATE PROFILE Air Inuit provides essential air transport services, including scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency flights, to Nunavik and surrounding regions, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for the past 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 37 aircraft and employs over 1,100 people in one of the world\'s most demanding flight environments. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist, support, and collaborate with the Chief Pilots and the Chief Flight Attendant in operational tasks, human resources issues, and various projects related to flight operations.
Demonstrate leadership and initiative by listening, analyzing, and providing feedback to the team.
Act as a liaison between employees and management, as well as with other departments.
Accompany and support teams in their various challenges.
Manage labor relations with crew members, including labor relations committees, and ensure open and continuous communication.
Proactively participate in internal and external audits, by preparing, collaborating, identifying improvement points, and implementing recommendations with action plans.
Monitor performance requirements against established goals and report deficiencies to the Director of Flight Operations, Safety Committee, or Accountable Executive.
Perform line pilot duties (valid license - an asset).
Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Flight Operations in their absence.
Perform any other task requested by the Director of Flight Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
College diploma or equivalent experience
Relevant pilot experience with a license
Basic knowledge of office software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to learn and use new software related to flight operations (AIMS, etc.)
Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance (RAIC)
Must possess a valid passport
Bilingual (English/French), Inuktitut is an asset.
Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, both orally and in writing
