With offices across the country, Sunbelt Rentals Film & TV services productions of all sizes from coast to coast and houses an extensive state-of-the-art inventory. Our job is to help bring the magic of storytelling to life, by supporting our clients as their go-to Partners in Production.To better serve the production industry\'s growing ambitions, our Lighting & Grip team is looking for an eager and experienced individuals to join us in the role of 310T Mechanic. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Toronto.Responsibilities

• Must be able to diagnose and perform repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles including but not limited to: Tractors, Trailers, Cube Vans, Delivery Vehicles, Lift Trucks, Shop Equipment, Lifting Devices, mobile equipment, AC Generators etc.
• Must be able to diagnose and repair brakes, transmissions, differentials, clutches, hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, vehicle electronics/diagnostics and electrical/lighting problems.
• Perform regular maintenance scheduled services as per manufacturers recommendations on vehicles as needed.
• Must work with frontline staff to order parts or provide details as needed to maintain stock and picks up parts from supplier as required.
• Must be able to perform field service calls and repairs as needed.
• Must have knowledge of welding on non-structural steel and aluminum equipment as needed.
• Maintains accurate repair notes on work orders for company and to MTO compliance.

The Ideal Candidate

• Must possess and be able to maintain current Certificate of Qualifications as a Truck & Coach Technician (310T)
• Generator Service Technician with a certificate from Fleming college would be considered an asset.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of maintenance and repair with commercial vehicles and High Voltage Generators.
• Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario, Class "G" Driver\'s license and a clean abstract.
• DZ or AR Driver\'s License would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Diesel AC Generators along with the required knowledge and experience to repair and maintain them would be considered an asset.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
