Corporate Couriers is the premier courier company, proudly serving our customers in British Columbia for the past 30 years. With a fleet of over 800 drivers and bicycle couriers, we are the largest same-day courier and offer a wide range of services that includes warehousing and distribution services, same-day delivery, fleet outsourcing, intercity, and medical delivery. We have created a fully integrated delivery system that utilizes the most advanced dispatch software, and bar-code scanning systems. We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, Fleet Performance Specialist to join our team in Nanaimo, BC! You are self-described as someone with a positive attitude that possess the ability to manage high volumes of data to a great degree of detail and make sense of it in a quick pace environment. Reporting to our Account Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Delivery Associates on the road; communicating with the team to ensure the highest degree of success on the road. Proven excellent communication skills and getting the job done in a collaborative way is the foundation to operational success of our team. Lastly, you possess the ability to move between applications and programs with ease as well as the ability to multi-task as required. If this sounds like you, here is what you can expect at Corporate Courier Logistics Ltd: What you will be doing:

  • Ensuring safety of the drivers, and customers/receivers;
  • Planning, monitoring, tracking and supporting drivers on the road to ensure optimum delivery performance while maintaining efficient communication always.
  • Proficient, clear, calm communication is essential;
  • General management of KPI metrics;
  • Escalate special cases/concerns to the Regional Managers/Operations Analyst;
  • Maintain a clean and COVID friendly, safe work environment;
  • Work Standards - Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
What you should already have:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum experience in a similar role would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel with proven experience in data entry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
Shift Times:
  • Thursday - Monday (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)
