Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations and management of our vehicles. This role requires strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties

Maintain trucks, vans, cars, skid steers, backhoes, loaders (regularly grease and fuel, record all maintenance activities and follow preventative maintenance schedule) Safely operate all company vehicles and equipment Review and sort weekly truck inspection slips from drivers and schedule required maintenance Inspect/diagnose and repair small defects Schedule major defects for repair Drop off/pick up vehicles and equipment from appointments Update and maintain in house fleet records, using spreadsheets and fleet software Coordinate vehicle inspections, registrations, and insurance renewals Ensure compliance with all local, provincial and federal transportation regulations Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations

Working Conditions

This position will require outdoor working conditions Heavy lifting may be required Wage based on experience

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum full G Drivers License required Must have transportation to and from Head Office DZ or Higher Drivers License an asset Experience with heavy equipment (CAT) an asset Mechanic experience considered an asset
