Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to support daily shop operations. This role will work closely with fleet to track unit status, schedule repairs, assign work orders, and assist with parts needs.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact between the shop and fleet department regarding unit availability, repair needs, and scheduling. Create, review, and assign work orders to technicians to ensure accurate and timely completion. Track unit status and update systems or logs as needed. Assist in parts identification, ordering, and tracking to ensure required components are available for repairs. Coordinate incoming units for service and prioritize work based on operational needs. Monitor and follow up on open work orders, ensuring proper documentation and closure. Maintain organized records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair timelines. Support shop leadership with workflow planning and daily operations.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a maintenance, shop, or fleet coordination role preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and parts (truck, trailer, or equipment knowledge a plus). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Good communication skills and ability to work with technicians, drivers, and management. Experience with maintenance software or work order systems (preferred but not required). Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.99-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
