They will also be adept at effectively creating, implementing, and directing policies, objectives, and initiatives that affect our shipping department and fleet processes.We are currently hiring a Fleet Department Manager for our Kent store at 809 Bishop Drive, Fredericton, New BrunswickWhat you will do:\xc2\xb7 Optimize the flow of deliveries in our largest markets\xc2\xb7 Support the shipping department and operations team through maximal efficiency of processes\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement strategies/initiatives to control or reduce operational costs\xc2\xb7 Optimize the utilization of assets including facilities, vehicles, and operations equipment\xc2\xb7 Manage logistics cost striving to achieve lowest delivered cost of goods. Maintain and improve Logistics metrics (KPIs (Key Performance Indicators))\xc2\xb7 Drive operational excellence within the requirements of health and safety\xc2\xb7 Assist in the development and implementation of fleet budget & initiatives\xc2\xb7 Work closely with drivers, shippers, and all levels of management.What you will bring:

• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Fleet Management and/or Logistics
• Experience in warehouse operations, business improvement processes
• Advance computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to recognize logistical problems, challenges or opportunities that may arise
• Ability to communicate and work with functional and management teams to evaluate and provide solutions
• Exceptional interpersonal, management and communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with stakeholders from all areas of the business and at all levels of leadership
• Results driven and oriented
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is an asset
• Logistics and Building supply industry knowledge is an asset
• Familiarity with routing, dispatch and warehouse management systems is required
